Standard Work
About Standard Work
Standard Work is treated as one of the most basic tools in TPS. Unfortunately, it is also one of the least understood & one of the most ineffectively used.
One of the seven wastes of Lean (Muda) is muda of human motion. Standard Work is created when we minimise human motion & create an ergonomic, productive & safe method to produce quality products or services. Clearly defined & visualised Standard Work then becomes a base for sustenance & further improvement.
This program takes you through a step by step approach to designing Standard Work & equip you with a basic, but powerful tool for minimising waste.
